OVW owner Danny Davis has regained the OVW Heavyweight Championship via a deputy sheriff who recovered it from the former Heavyweight Champion Mike Mondo's residence earlier this week. Mike Mondo was stripped of the OVW Heavyweight Championship after he hit Danny Davis with brass knuckles, culminating from an argument Davis had about Mondo's use of said brass knuckles.

In a statement to ovwrestling.com, Mondo has sworn "to raise hell at TV." Danny Davis, however, intends to intercept and confront Mike Mondo if he dares interrupt the television taping.
