INFO:             Ohio Valley wrestling is known as the “Harvard” of professional wrestling training programs. Noteworthy graduates read like a who’s who of sports entertainment, including John Cena, and Brock Lesnar. OVW is also the developmental territory (think AAA baseball) of TNA Impact, the second largest professional wrestling company in the United States. Some of the company’s current stars like Rob Terry, Mr. PEC-Tacular Jessie Godderz, and Doug Williams appear each week on Impact’s national television show on Spike TV.  OVW owner Danny Davis roots back to the old days of professional wrestling at the historic Louisville Gardens. Davis has used the OVW platform to thrill hundreds of thousands of fans over the last two decades. In addition, the Louisville based company has been a significant contributor to local non-profit groups hosting benefit events for hundreds of volunteer fire departments, schools and charities for sick or needy children. OVW television airs every Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday morning at 2 a.m. on WKYI-TV Insight digital cable channel 138.

NOTES:          This event will have plenty of exciting B-roll opportunities. Wrestlers are available for interviews in advance for morning news broadcasts and during the event.
